Anodizing is an electrochemical process that converts the metal surface into a decorative, durable, corrosion-resistant, anodic oxide finish. Valmont Coatings offers a variety of anodizing options including Bright Dip, Etch, Type II & Type III, Color, Eternagraphix, Eternalum and Fade Anodizing. You can find descriptions of the various anodize finishes Valmont Coatings has to offer below.
Marble Anodizing-Eternalum: A rich, elegant marble-like finish available in dozens of color combinations and distinctive patterns. It is as durable as standard anodize and can be offered in dozens of two to four color combinations. The patterns can be adjusted to meet your requirements.
Graphic Anodizing-Eternagraphics: A proprietary process that creates full color, photo-quality graphics in anodized aluminum and powder coated finishes. This process can be added to complex shapes and is as durable as the anodized, hard anodized or powder coated finishes in which they are integrated. Whether anodized or powder coated, eternagraphix finishes are far more durable than silk screens, labels, decals, stencils or other standard techniques.
Color Anodizing: Valmont Coatings George Industries specializes in aluminum anodizing and provides the largest selection of anodize colors in Type II (sulfuric) and Type III (hard) anodize finishes. All of the standard and custom colors are available in bright dip and etch (matte) finishes.
Fade Anodizing: The blending of multiple colors. This process can be applied to complex shapes and is available in a large variety of custom colors.
